So here is the story about Farrah Abraham, former teen mom. She has a three-year old named Sophia who is a little on the furry side. The baby has a unibrow growing.
I know what you are thinking: So the hell what?!
Apparently, Farrah was bothered by her daughter’s appearance and decided to wax the baby girl’s unibrow. When Little Sophia did not appreciate hot ass wax on her forehead, Farrah decided to take for the tweezers when the child was asleep, accomplishing the task.
Apparently, Little Sophia liked her appearance the next morning.
Call me crazy, but I do not think there is much wrong with this UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- There is proof the child was being teased brutally in school or daycare
- The child was pulling at the hair, causing pigmentation and other skin issues.
- The unibrow would make the child feel ugly, not the parent.
Besides these reasons, I am trying to understand Farrah’s reasoning for waxing her daughter’s face. Considering Farrah has had a great deal of plastic surgery done herself, maybe she is just a little too zealous with “perfecting” herself and now her poor three-year old.
This nonsense is exactly why my daughters do not watch music videos. I do not want them to get the image of “perfection” in people who are just as flawed as you and me.
Society’s perspective of beauty is so flawed, mainly because it tells the overweight girl, the dark-skinned girl or the hirsute girl that they are not pretty enough to be adored.
It’s bullshit and shame on any parent that puts their TODDLERS through this sort of mess so the parent (not the child!) can feel good about themselves!!
